Join us for an inspiring talk by Marc Windahl:

“Walking in the Impressionist Painter’s Footsteps”

He says about his lecture:

2024 is the 150th Anniversary of the first Impressionist Exhibition.  As part of an MSUM study abroad opportunity, I had the chance, along with 21 fellow students,  to study the Impressionists and travel to Europe to view their art and “walk in their footsteps.”  My presentation will draw from my research, my visits to the locations where some of the world’s best-known paintings were painted, my journal that captures my thoughts and watercolor paintings of these locations, and lessons I learned about travel journaling.  This journal is how I will remember and share the experience with family and friends.  I want to share it with you and hopefully inspire and equip you to capture your memories and travels.

Note the earlier start time - 6pm. Gather from 5:30pm to work on trading cards or share projects.

Appetizers and refreshments will be available. Register if you plan to attend so we can plan food and drink accordingly. Thanks, see you then!

Our hostess will be Anita B.
